Penjelasan . .

- Shutdown berfungsi untuk mematikan port interface.

- No shutdown berfungsi untuk menghidupkan port interface.

- Mode Trunk berfungsi agar setiap vlan bisa lewat dan switch bisa saling berhubungan. Setiap switch yang lewat maka akan di anggap member vlan 1.

- Mode server - client : 3 switch yg berbeda pisikal , tetapi apabila di set sebagai server dan client maka 3 switch yg berbeda pisikal itu akan saling berhubungan dan menjadi satu pisikal , tetapi dengan syarat domain dan password client harus mengikuti server .

- Vlan : Fungsi dari vlan ialah untuk memecah broadcast. Dengan adanya vlan maka broadcast akan sesuai dengan vlan nya masing-masing .

- Mode access : berfungsi untuk meng-gruping vlan. Maka setiap port yang di mode access akan menjadi member vlan.

- Interface vlan 1 di gunakan untuk vlan manajemen . interface vlan 1 harus menggunakan password secret,console,dan vty. Dengan adanya vlan manajemen maka router atau switch bisa di konfigurasi jarak jauh atau bisa di konfig tanpa melalui router atau switch nya .

- Spanning tree mode pvst digunakan agar setiap switch yang ada bisa di set sebagai root bridge vlan. Dengan kata lain semua vlan tidak bergantung pada satu root bridge/switch saja .

- Encapsulation di gunakan untuk pembungkusan vlan agar antar vlan bisa saling berhubungan atau di sebut inter vlan routing .

- Ip dhcp pool di buat agar setiap user yang berada di dalam network akan mendapatkan ip secara otomatis dari router.

- Dns – server mungkin sebagai kamus penterjemah biner pada link web browser.

- NAT adalah proses translasi dari ip private menjadi ip public. Maka pada saat user ip private mengirim data ke network luar melalui router maka ip private nya akan di translasi menjadi ip public.

- Service password encruption di buat agar password yang kita buat akan di ubah menjadi kode-kode agar tidak terlihat.

- Ip nat inside source list 11interface fastEthernet 0/0 overload mungkin maksud nya ip nat yang ada di network apabila mengirim data keluar maka akan melalui interface fastEthernet 0/0.
